Aline Bartenstein, M.A.

Aline Bartenstein is a research associate and PhD candidate at CETEUS, University of Cologne. Currently, she is programme manager for PROTEUS, an interdisciplinary teaching programme for MA students. Additionally, she is offering lectures on BA and MA level. She graduated from the University of Cologne in 2013 with a Master in Political Science (Major) and Energy Economics (Minor). She holds a Bachelor Degree in European Studies.

Her research focuses on European Energy Policy, particularly on the development of primary and secondary law, the question of sovereignty of and solidarity between Member States as well as external energy policy. She speaks English and French fluently.
