Dr. Mirja Schröder

Mirja Schröder is Vice-Director of CETEUS. As senior researcher she is part of the research project TRIANGLE - EU/German-Turkish Relations beyond Conflicts, funded by Stiftung Mercator. Prior to that she worked as a Research Associate and PhD Candidate at the Jean Monnet Chair and at CETEUS as project- and financial manager of several research and teaching projects dealing with different aspects of EU integration. 

She successfully completed her PhD in September 2018. In her doctoral thesis she investigated the external energy dimension of the European Union from a critical geopolitics perspective.

She studied economics and political science at the University of Cologne and Sciences Po Lyon. In 2015 she spent a research stay at Berkeley University, California. From 2016 to 2017 she received a PhD fellowship from the Fritz Thyssen Foundation.
