Dr. Wulf Reiners
Dr. Wulf Reiners is Head of the ‘Managing Global Governance’ (MGG) programme of the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE). From 2015 to 2017 he was Assistant Professor at the Turkish-German University in Istanbul, where he also served as academic co-coordinator of the Jean Monnet Module ‘INSITER – Inside the Turkey-EU Relations’. Between 2007 and 2015, he worked as researcher, lecturer and project manager at the Jean Monnet Chair of Prof. Wessels at the University of Cologne, inter alia in the function of the Project and Financial Director of the FP7 Marie Curie training network EXACT on EU external action (2010-2013) and as member of the FP7 research project MERCURY on multilateralism and the EU (2009-2012). He has been Marie Curie Visiting Researcher to the University of Pittsburgh in 2013 in the framework of the FP7 project EUGLOBAL and is vice chairperson of the Cologne Monnet Association for EU Studies (COMOS)
Wulf Reiners received his PhD in political science with distinction from the University of Cologne in 2015 and is winner of the "University Award 2013" of the University of Cologne for excellent academic achievements in the field of "Teaching and Studies“. His research interests include global and EU governance and institutions, EU external action, German and EU-Turkish relations as well as global and EU health policy.
